AMEN New Technologies announces the successful participation of its R&D team represented by Dr. Dimitrios Niarchos, Dr. Dimitrios Anyfantis, and Mrs. Evangelia Dimeli in the 9th Triannual Meeting of the Hellenic Metallurgical Society, held in Thessaloniki on 3–4 November 2025. The conference gathered leading researchers and industry stakeholders to discuss advances in metallurgy and strategic materials.

AMEN delivered three presentations showcasing recent progress in sustainable permanent magnet technologies:

  • Dr. D. Niarchos presented the role of powder metallurgy as a strategic platform for permanent magnet production, highlighting its ability to control microstructure, enhance coercivity, and reduce critical material usage while supporting efficient and scalable manufacturing.

  • Dr. D. Anyfantis presented research on rare-earth-free Fe₂P-based alloys, demonstrating how Co and Si substitutions improve magnetic properties and stability, positioning these materials as promising candidates for future permanent magnet applications.

  • Mrs. E. Dimeli presented AMEN’s advancements in axially compressed bonded magnets based on (NdPr)-(LaCe)FeB High Entropy Intermetallic Compounds, achieving up to 80% substitution of Nd/Pr with La/Ce while maintaining competitive magnetic performance and enabling cost-effective fabrication.

All presentations were well received, generating strong interest in AMEN’s approach to reducing reliance on critical raw materials, enhancing European supply-chain resilience, and supporting energy-efficient technologies such as electric mobility and renewable power systems.

AMEN New Technologies remains committed to advancing next-generation magnetic materials and strengthening industrial innovation in Greece and Europe.
