AMEN New Technologies focuses on the R&D (research and development) of innovative technologies from laboratory to industrial scale mainly for the benefit of the environment.
Following the technological developments in energy applications as well as in advanced materials worldwide, we aim to provide a novel impetus in technological development at the National, European, and Global levels.
Collaborating with the Science and Technology Park “Lefkippos”, in the campus of “NCSR Demokritos”, Aghia Paraskevi in Athens, Greece, the company holds access to state-of-the-art laboratories and facilities of the “NCSR Demokritos” for carrying out its activities. “NCSR Demokritos” is the largest multidisciplinary research center in the country and hosts significant scientific research, technological development and educational activities, coordinated by eight (8) Research Institutes.

Dr. Dimitrios Niarchos
Dr. D. Niarchos obtained his Ph.D in Materials Science from Athens University (Greece) in 1978 and an MBA of R&D from Loyola University in 1985. He served in various research and administrative positions, such as Professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Director of the Institute of Materials Science of the NCSR “D” and President Director and President of the Board of the NCSR “Demokritos”. He developed the lab for thin-film growth of magnetic and superconducting oxide multilayers using sputtering and laser ablation. He is the author and co-author of more than 490 publications with more than 8200 citations and has managed more than 35 National and EU projects with a budget of approximately 12 MEURO. Antonis Bogdanos is an entrepreneur, CEO and Co-Founder of AMEN New Technologies and a group of companies in Greece and abroad, specializing in the organizational structures of companies and in the evaluation and training of human resources (HR). His goal is to help improve drastically the level of operation of companies in Greece and abroad and to improve our working tools and methods.
Mr. Filotas Niarchos graduated from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the University of Athens and completed his postgraduate studies at Queen Mary University of London in International Relations and Politics. He specializes in CSR and Public Relations. He has worked in the Corporate Affairs departments of two of the largest telecommunications companies and he is currently working as the Head of Actions at the environmental organization We4All and as HR Consultant at AMT Consultants. At AMEN New Technologies he is working as Product Development Officer.
Dr. Vasileios Tzitzios
Dr. Vasileios Tzitzios is a graduate of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki (Greece), where he received his B.Sc. degree in Chemistry in 1995, his Master degree in Chemical Technology in 1998 and he concluded his studies by gaining his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Greece in 2003. From May 2003 he was working as research associate in the National Center of Scientific Research “Demokritos” (Athens, Greece), in the Institute of Material Science. He was also visitor researcher in the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Delaware in the USA, in Condensed Matter and Physics Department in the Stefan Institute in Ljubljana Slovenia and in Khalifa University of Science and Technology in Abu Dhabi, while since June 2019 he holds a Researcher position in NSCR “Demokritos”. Furthermore, Dr. Tzitzios joined Nanovive S.A., a US private nanotechnology company, as a scientific consultant from March of 2005 to August of 2007. He is an experienced researcher with broad range of expertise in Chemistry and Material Science and Technology: from the design, synthesis of novel experiments to equipment and application of such to materials of interest. His research activities are focused on the development of chemical routes concerning the synthesis of novel nanostructured materials, hybrid organic/inorganic materials for various industrial fields including magnet technology, petrochemicals and biomedicine. Dr. Tzitzios has made significant contribution to the field of materials chemistry by combining the fields of advanced inorganic chemistry with materials science and nanotechnology. His contribution to the excellence of science reflected in his track record of work (over 95 publications), with an overview of approximately 3500 citations with h-index, 30. He is also a referee of a number of scientific journals, and Guest Editor in Nanomaterials journal (MDPI).
Dr. Panagiotis Dallas
Dr. Dallas is Research Associate at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, NCSR “Demokritos” and Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation Fellow. Dr.Dallas has worked at the University of Oxford (2013-2018, UK), Cornell University (2010-2013, USA) and taught elementary quantum theory at Oxford Materials. He has published more than 40 research articles, book chapters and books that have received more than 2000 citations. His current research focuses on the chemical synthesis of organic and composite materials for photocatalysis, carbon dioxide reduction and sensing applications with a total funding of 190.000,00 €.
Mr. Sigalos Athanasios is a graduate of the Department of Industrial Design and Production Engineering (former Department of Automation Engineering) of the University of West Attica, School of Engineering. It has a certification of very good knowledge in the field of informatics and computer operation, in the configuration and updating of microcontrollers and programmable logic controllers (PLC). He specializes in methods of design, development, manufacture and operation of electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic machines as well as their automatic control. He can also perform inspection, maintenance and restoration of electromechanical material. He has participated in applications of microprocessors (embedded systems), propulsion systems, mechatronic systems and, also, in applications of autonomous-self-propelled and multi-purpose small robotic devices. In addition, he participated in applications of digitally controlled mechanical drive devices (solar tracker) as well as in applications related to methods of design and implementation of SAE systems for the track sequence.
Ms. Artemis Niarchou is a graduate of Business Administration Department at Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). She specializes in improving business efficiency through training and human resource assessment (HR). She has helped many entrepreneurs improve their employees with training programs in organization, human resources, sales, marketing and financial prosperity. Her goal is to promote all innovative products in the field of research in the most efficient way, so that people can receive the benefits of these products and improve their lives.
