AMEN New Technologies has been highlighted on the European Commission’s Innovation Radar for its work on an innovative process to produce magnetic materials with reduced temperature and time for the synthesis of Fe₂P via nanostructuring, developed under the Horizon Europe project CoCoMag. The Innovation Radar platform identifies high-potential innovations and key innovators emerging from EU-funded research and innovation projects, offering visibility to projects with strong future market and sustainability impact.
The recognised innovation, currently classified in the “Exploring” maturity category, focuses on advanced compositionally complex alloys that support the development of magnets free from critical rare-earth elements — a major step towards more sustainable energy solutions and reduced reliance on critical raw materials. This technology aligns with key UN Sustainable Development Goals, including sustainable energy access and resilient industrialization.
AMEN New Technologies, based in Athens, is listed as a key innovator behind this innovation, reflecting its growing role in European materials research. The company’s contributions to CoCoMag are part of broader efforts to enable cleaner, more efficient technologies for sectors such as e-mobility and energy systems, where advanced magnetic materials are crucial.
Being featured on the Innovation Radar enhances AMEN’s visibility among investors, industry partners and innovation stakeholders across Europe, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable technology development and market-relevant research.
