AMEN NEW TECHNOLOGIES I.K.E, a dynamic SME based in Athens, Greece is looking for an individual to work in its R&D Department and support its involvement in a recently funded EU HORIZON project “Multi-property Compositionally Complex Magnets for Advanced Energy Applications” starting June 1st 2023 with a duration of 3 years.
Requirements for the Job
A PhD or Master degree in Materials Science, Physics or Metallurgy
Experience with metallic alloy synthesis or transition metals with rare-earths using
arc-melting or induction melting or melt-spinning or similar techniques
Basic knowledge in one or more characterization techniques such as powder X-Ray
Diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscopy or Transmission Electron Microscopy,
Thermogravimetric analysis, etc
Basic experience with powder consolidation techniques
Experience with Word, Power point, XLS and origin software and Proficient in English
Available for travel to meetings and conferences and dissemination skills
Full time employment with a good renumeration package

The individual will also have the support to develop its managerial experience and the
freedom to present ideas for a faster growth of AMEN NEW TECHNOLOGIES I.K.E.
