We are proud to announce our participation in the Beethoven Project (Substitution of Rare-Earths for Advanced Novel Magnets in Energy and Transport Applications), which officially kicked off with a successful meeting on May 30th, 2024. The event, hosted at the Consejo Superior De Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) delegation in Brussels, Belgium, brought together 14 partners from 10 countries, all united by a shared commitment to innovation and sustainability.
The hybrid format of the meeting allowed for dynamic presentations and lively discussions, setting the stage for the ambitious goals of the project. The Beethoven Project aims to develop advanced magnetic materials that can substitute rare-earth elements in the energy and transport sectors, fostering sustainability and reducing dependency on critical raw materials. By developing these key technologies and materials within the EU, the project will enhance Europe’s industrial competitiveness and autonomy, contributing to a more resilient future.
We would like to extend our gratitude to CSIC for hosting the kick-off meeting and to Adrian Quesada for his inspiring leadership. As one of the 14 partners in this groundbreaking initiative, we are excited to collaborate on this journey of discovery and innovation.
Stay tuned for more updates as we work together to achieve our vision for a sustainable future in energy and transportation!
